Today's suggestion was: take a poll to see who/what took a bite out of A's leaf. Any number of things could be the perpetrator. It looks as though A has grown into its scars well as you can see. One of the leaves has a bite or several bites take out of it, your guess is as good as mine as to what did it. Perhaps it was a wayward beetle that took a nibble, or possibly a caterpillar stopped by for a snack. The way the leaf looks in the picture, it could have even been pumpkin plant eating zombies. There is always a chance that it was one of the moles from under the porch too, the have to eat as well (I kinda hate them though). But the best idea I have so far is the random keyhole skeleton face cloud monster that was lurking over my house today...

My vote is for the skull head cloud thingie. It looks like it would enjoy nibbling on pumpkins.
