Its the holidays, so I was expecting a little leeway. Yes, I know the pumpkin patch has been sorely lacking for the past month or two, but now it is coming back. Everything has finally come together. I have all the pieces that I think I want, and a spare few minutes to put it together. I can't guarantee that I am not going to be adding crazy bits as this project progress, but for now, the seeds are planted.

I received the seeds about a week ago from my sister. I am glad they had an opportunity to travel through the mail. It is probably not the first time for seeds, but what can I say, I have never (nor expect to) travel by U.S. Mail. I had no idea that they would be green, they look kind of odd next to the other seeds. I figured that I had such good luck with getting the first plants to grow (leaves at least) that I should throw a few of the leftover seeds from them into the mix.

So, the seeds are now planted. I put mini seeds in the four containers in the aluminum thing and a few of the big seeds in the bigger round plastic bowl. I used two kinds of potting soil because I don't know how much faith I have in the stuff that came with the mini seeds, and from what I know, miracle grow grows stuff. Anyhow, the light is set to a timer and I gave them all a little water. I know I said I had hoped to have leaves by the new year, but the seeds are in the dirt. Now we wait for germination!
Yay Pumpkins are back. It will be nice to see something green grownin. Are there boy pumpkin seeds and girl pumpkin seeds? Just wondered...........
