So, I did very much expect nothing to have happened with the plants that I planted outside. I mean, it has only been a couple of days. And thank you, perhaps it would have been a good idea to work the soil with stuff; sadly I didn't. It is just soil (it worked last year). My expectations were confirmed...nothing DID indeed happen out there.
On the other hand, something that I expected even less happened. A new seedling sprouted in the mini-pumpkin patch. I planted those in december. They have been replanted twice since then. That is amazing. You can see the little sprout right in the middle of the pan. Perhaps that is a good omen...
