The start of a new month is a good time to turn over a new leaf. Pun intended. I wish I could change the weather. I can't; so I'll just keep doing what I'm doing. Remember there are still a few days before the clock runs out. Some of the leaves are green, there is still some new growth, but the brown leaves are starting to take over. It looks like they have been eaten by something; it looks like Fluffy, Ollie, and Stew aren't doing their job; but they are...I have to face the facts, pumpkins are not happy when fall arrives.
They haven't quit. They still have blooming flowers. Even the tiny little second vine by A is growing. I snuck in more fertilizer today and some plant food. I also buried a couple aspirin; it works for flowers in a jar, why not plants in the ground...Let's pull out all the stops...Let's turn over a new leaf.
