I should probably say the end IS near, but I am trying to be optimistic (at least in the case of the pumpkin patch). There just seems to be something about they way they are looking these days. There are still flowers, and they are still green (kind of). But the flowers are smaller, and the green is rapidly being replaced by brown and wilted. At this point I am wishing that I would have opted for the extended warranty.
The warranty was only like $100, and they said would send a representative to the house to repair the pumpkins if anything went wrong. Damn warranties...Or maybe I should have just opted for the good pumpkins in the first place. Or perhaps I could just pick up a few at any store. I understand drug stores selling pumpkins (they seem to sell everything), I even understand grocery stores selling pumpkins, but why would a sporting good store or a video rental store sell pumpkins? I think everyone is just taunting me with their ability to grow and sell pumpkins, and my failure...The boy scouts even got in on it...I have to pass their 'pumpkin sale' every day I go to work...Apparently they were prepared this year.

The glasses you made yesterday will come in handy for Kaia. You will have to improve theme to fit. Kaia had an eye check up and she needs to wear glassess for an astigmatism. How are we ever going to keep the glasses on
ReplyDeleteI saved some spagetti squash seeds for next year.
ReplyDeleteMaybe give them a try?
