9/18/10 Flowers, flowers everywhere...

My thought of the day is: have you ever had pumpkin flavored candy?  I don't think I have.  I mean there are candies that I don't like, for instance, coconut, banana, root beer and the like.  The thing is, I don't remember ever looking for, finding, or being offered pumpkin flavored candy.  I can't imagine that it is especially good; I'd probably lump in in to the 'candy-not-liked' pile.  Regardless of weather I would eat it or not, I was still wondering if it existed.  It does.  It is not a mainstream flavor, but you can get it, or at least  find recipes to make it.  I do not anticipate ever finding a pumpkin flavored life saver.

Pumpkins are still going strong.  There are a few new flowers today, 2 had a nice big one; see below.  There will be pumpkins, oh yes, there will be pumpkins...
