Thanks for the words of encouragement. I haven't given up hope yet. However, as per the title, my pot is dry. I likened waiting for the girl flower to open to watching water boil; well the water boiled, and now the pot may melt before the flower blooms. I really thought it would follow the same timeline as the other flowers. Clearly girl flowers take longer. It is, though, slightly yellower than yesterday. Good thing, or bad thing...I don't know...If people turn yellow, thats a bad thing (save for the Simpsons); If lemons turn yellow, thats good (provided you like lemon - which I do - especially in tea).

Regardless, the pumpkins are green and growing. A would like to take this opportunity to remember C. C never amounted to much, just a bit of dirt and a tiny piece of baseboard. A seems to have finally picked a direction to grow in, right across C it seems. Everything in the pumpkin patch is coming together - strong, mostly healthy green upright plants, growing all on their own (save for the auto-water). Have faith, there will be pumpkins...
