If indeed the thing that looks like a flower bud is a flower, then the flowers will most likely be some shade of yellow. I have been wrong before, but I do believe this will be the first one. I have also been told that the flowers don't last long, a day at most, so lets hope that this is also not the last flower.It was also quite windy today and the pumpkins seemed not to like that very much. They both looked a little pushed to the east. My theory is, if they were a little more on the ball with these vines and tendrils, they wouldn't have to worry about the wind. Anyhow, there doesn't seem to be any impending doom or danger today, so for the most part, the pumpkins had a good day...
