8/5/10 Pumpkins are food too?

People have been eating or at least doing things with pumpkins for at least the last 5000 years.  Apparently people are not the only ones that eat pumpkins (or their leaves for that matter-the flowers are edible too).  While pumpkins and their seeds make a 'yummy snack' (I had to put that in there, it was just too funny to pass up), they also have nutritional value.  They have zinc, iron, magnesium, potassium, and fatty acids; albeit they are 90% water.  The secret that pumpkins are food is out, the neighborhood poachers seem to know this as well.

We know something came along and took a bite out of A, what that something was we may never know.  A has hired some protection, hence the little scare-wolf, and it seems to be doing its job for now.  But now it looks as though 2 is under siege as well.  I guess I am going to need some more protection.  I wonder if there is a local mafia I can hire?  I promise to give them some of the proceeds, maybe a few seeds...I also wonder if this is why C never came up...A little scared of the locals...(pumpkin plants bleed orange apparently)
