Remember when I said that pumpkins can grow 10 to 15 pounds per day? I have had none of that. Perhaps that will happen when the pumpkins happen. Anyhow, since I haven't been able to employ any more full time protection yet, and I wanted to see if the growing maybe happens at night, I had to take a few moments to find out what pumpkins do in the dark.They don't do much. Pumpkins at night are very similar to pumpkins during the day. The only difference I was able to discern was that I needed a flash to take the picture. So now I'm out in my yard in the dark taking pictures of pumpkins with a flash...thats just great...well, I hope I didn't ruin their sleep, that is if pumpkins sleep.
