And NOT 'not a drop to drink.' I wonder what happens if I water the pumpkins more than one time per day, if that. Well, now I guess I don't have to wonder anymore. I remember a few days ago when it rained all day...The day after, the pumpkins (especially 2) really took off. That inspired me today to give the pumpkins more water. I gave them each 1.5 bottles of aquafina. Not all at one time mind you, I broke it up over three waterings. I suppose I will have to wait till tomorrow to see if it has any effect.My goal is to get 2 all the way over to the gas line. 2 is just a few centimeters (inches for you americans) from the line right now. I don't see this being any problem unless they go all 'Little Shop of Horrors' on me. Or perhaps the plutonium I snuck in there makes mutant giant pumpkins that like to break things. Who knows, anything could happen...lets watch TV...
It's going to be hot all week, give them LOTS of water in the early morning so the sun doesn't make them all crispy. Or late at night, but then you risk root rot. - BD
