8/20/10 What to do...

Anybody have any idea what to do about the mildew?  What do you think about the baking soda idea (something like one tablespoon of baking soda with a little soap in a gallon of water)?  Some say this will fix it; I know the mildew is not supposed to kill them; I'm only wondering about this because I want them to have the best chances possible.  What do you think about H2O2?  Maybe I should cut down the pine tree, or move the house to reduce the shade.

That being said, the pumpkins have been getting a bit of exercise lately.  They do move to face the sun.  They point their leaves to the east in the morning and rotate around to the west-ish by the evening.  2 looks like it'll be having a flower soon (perhaps a little jealous of A).  My guess, it'll be orange...

These pictures of A were taken from the same spot, one was just in the morning, the other was in the evening..

  1. You could try the baking soda thing on one or two of the leaves? That way you're not threatening the entire plant if it doesn't turn out so well...
