8/21/10 Not just for volcanos anymore...

Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide apparently can do many things including: toothpaste, cleaning, and volcanoes.  When I think of baking soda, cooking comes to mind first.  Since the baking soda recipe calls for a very SLIGHT bit of work, I started with the H2O2.  I gave A a little spritz on one of the leaves this morning.  I hope there is progress, if not, I'll have to try some new recipes and solutions.

Today was the first major day of rain in the recorded history of pumpkins.  Yes, there have been a few days of rain since the pumpkins started, but this is the first day that it has rained all day.  The pumpkins previous experience with rain has been block of eight minutes or so of heavy rain then nothing.  I hope a good day of weather for them does them well...

2 decided today would be the best day to have it's first flower.
