8/22/10 Before and after...

The rain did wonders for the pumpkins.  2's flower has wilted away, but the rain inspired it to grow quite a bit.  It seems as though 2 has decided that it would be a good idea to return the protection favor to Stew.  The leaves have pretty much covered him; I suppose they make a good umbrella.

No thanks to Al, the pumpkins got more rain today.  Just a little, but rain none the less.  I don't know if the rain helped get rid of some of the mildew on the leaf I sprayed, or if it was indeed the hydrogen peroxide.  I decided to give it another try today, so I gave 2 a little H2O2 as well.  Tomorrow, I'm guessing, I will have a little better idea of how well it works.  I will let you know then.  But until then, here is a look at 2 yesterday (up on the left), and 2 today (right).  Stew is hanging out behind yesterdays flower.
